This is the second of three papers written for 8.13, which is MIT's Experimental Physics I or Junior Lab course. This experiment focuses on replicating the infamous electron-photon scattering experiment from A.H. Compton as well as investigating photon-electron scattering cross sections using predictions from Quantum Field Theory.
For any current 8.13/Physics students, my papers are not uploaded here as a reference. They exist here as a means of cataloguing my previous work, and should not be used as a perfect example of how to conduct these experiments or write a paper.
